Dragon Fest Berlin debuts October 10–11, 2026 — the city's first pan-Asian culture festival at Jules B-Part am Gleisdreieck.
Berlin's first dedicated pan-Asian culture festival lands at Jules B-Part am Gleisdreieck in Kreuzberg on Saturday October 10 and Sunday October 11, 2026. Organised by Wedesi Berlin — the team behind Holi in Berlin and Diwali in Berlin — Dragon Fest pairs a full acrobatic dragon and lion dance troupe, K-Pop showcase, ancient Chinese strings, Vietnamese live music, taiko drums, Wushu, an independent lantern market and a kids' zone with five pan-Asian kitchens, rain or shine.
Dragon Fest is built around a single idea: the dragon has moved through Asia for a thousand years as a sign of prosperity, strength and abundance. It has opened new years, blessed new beginnings, and drawn crowds into the street. Dragon Fest brings that arrival to Berlin — with drums you feel before you hear and fire in the choreography.
Programming spans Chinese dragon and lion dance in the Guangdong tradition, guzheng and erhu ensemble sets, K-Pop crew showcases, a live Vietnamese music set, Japanese taiko drums, Wushu forms, and closing Bollywood × Asian fusion and Southeast Asian electronic DJ sets. Around the stage: five pan-Asian kitchens — Mr. Quicky (bao & rice bowls), IBC (biryani & Indo-Chinese), Mangan (Indonesian street food), Chao She (northern Chinese) and Khaugallli (Indo-Chinese street) — plus a lantern-lit market of independent Asian makers and a dedicated kids' zone with crafts, calligraphy demos and short showcase sets.
The festival sits in a deliberate gap in the Berlin autumn calendar — the mid-October slot that anchors Chinese Mid-Autumn and Korean Chuseok in the same window — open to families during the day, after-work crowds from late afternoon, and the full multicultural festival crowd through the evening. Jules B-Part am Gleisdreieck was chosen for its step-free access, central transit links (U1/U3 Gleisdreieck, 7-minute walk), and ability to host outdoor and indoor programming side-by-side.
Dragon Fest Berlin is Wedesi's newest event. Across 2025, Wedesi festivals — Holi in Berlin, Diwali in Berlin and The Great Indian Food Festival — brought together more than 50,000 attendees, making Wedesi one of Berlin's largest cultural festival organisers and a top organiser on Eventbrite.
